Everything you need to know about how TicketScout works
TicketScout is a free ticket price comparison site. We search across multiple ticket sellers simultaneously so you can see all available prices for an event in one place — without having to visit each site individually. We don't sell tickets ourselves; we simply show you where to find the best deal and link you directly to the seller.
We compare prices across a range of established ticket sellers, including primary market sellers (official box office partners), secondary market resale platforms, and specialist event ticketing sites. We only work with verified, reputable sellers — we don't list unverified third parties or individual private resellers. We're continuously adding new sellers to give you broader coverage.
Yes, completely free. We never charge you to use TicketScout and we never add fees on top of the prices we display. The price you see is the price shown on the seller's own site.
When you click through to a seller and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission from that seller. This never affects the price you pay — you always pay exactly what the seller charges. Our commission comes from the seller, not from you. This model also means we're genuinely motivated to show you the best and most accurate prices, because that's what earns your click.
We pull prices directly from each seller's platform and aim to keep them as current as possible. However, ticket prices can change quickly — especially for high-demand events — and some sellers update their pricing in real time. We always recommend confirming the final price on the seller's site before completing your purchase. Booking fees may also apply on the seller's checkout page.
The prices we display are the lowest available prices as provided by each seller. Some sellers add booking or service fees at checkout which may not be reflected in the price shown here. Always check the final total on the seller's site before purchasing. We clearly label our prices as "from £X" to reflect this.
Primary sellers are official, authorised ticket outlets — typically the venue box office or an official ticketing partner appointed by the event promoter. Prices on primary market sites are set by the promoter and reflect the original ticket price.
Secondary sellers are resale platforms where fans list tickets they already own. Prices on secondary market sites are set by the individual sellers, not the artist, venue, or promoter — and can be significantly above or below the original ticket price depending on demand. Some events sell out on the primary market and are only available on secondary platforms.
TicketScout displays prices from both primary and secondary sellers side by side so you can make an informed choice. We always recommend checking which type of seller you're buying from before completing a purchase.
We only list established, verified ticket sellers with a proven track record. When you click through to buy, you're purchasing directly from that seller on their own secure website — TicketScout is never involved in the transaction. If you have any issues with a purchase (cancellations, refunds, disputes), you should contact the seller directly. We recommend reviewing each seller's terms before buying.
Not every seller stocks every event. Some events are exclusive to a single seller, some are sold out on certain platforms, and some smaller events may only be available through one provider. We show every price we can find — if only one seller has inventory, that's what you'll see. We're also continuously adding new sellers, so coverage will improve over time.
Just type an artist name, team, show, or event into the search bar on the homepage and press Search. If we find a match, you'll see upcoming dates for that artist or event. Click any date to see a full price comparison across all available sellers. You can also browse by category using the tabs on the homepage.
We're a small team so we're not always able to respond to individual queries, but we do read all feedback. You can find more information about TicketScout on our homepage.
